Hey dere guys, it bery fun ta hear sumbudy else’s veiwpoint of wuts goin’ on.
Da funniest part ub dat is me had opposite problem. Me needed ta git as littul exp as possibul to try to max my inf, and me just bearly did dat.
Donno if you seen me begging for peeps ta join me to take da BOs fer like 15 min or so, cuz me been runnin round tryin ta find and kill solo Order fer a LONG time. Me caught an kilt a few.
Me ran into a pair of Order, a Warrior Priest, and a Ironbreaker, a few times, and had LONG battles meby bout 5 minutes wid dem 2 v 1, only to lose eventually. But found dem afk at one point hiding heh got some inf from dem. Sorry guys.
Well me needed bout 1200 inf to cap, and was sooo close to dinging me could no go where da fight was in a different pairing, so me stayed in da zone, which was mostly empty.
Finally sumbudy said Me join you for BOs. So me, him and 2 others joined, started takin BOs, and were on da 3rd BO when me ran into yer group. Da best part of dat wuz me dint git exp for 4 of da gaurds, cuz you guys already killed dem.
After takin all BOs, me still needed 200 Inf and only bout 14k exp before me chicken out.
So sumbudy in me group seemed ta want to try to take Passwatch. It didn’t look good to take since we had so few, and dere wuz a couple order defending, but me figured why not try.
When you came, and me wuz gittin serious heals from you and da shammie and da udder healurz me wuz near invincible. Me only died 1 time dat whole battle, and me tinks sumbudy wuz hittin on da healers at dat time. By den me had me 200 inf and got me reward before runnin back out. Dat fight was so much fun. Me liked it when me got my health bar down to bout 20 percent and would run away from keep. Dem Order would stick to me like glue. Dey prolly were tinkin we gonna kill dis guy finally! But no, heh, me keep runnin dem away from keep till dey die.
Order played in a way dat made dat more fun, cuz dey could have all just stayed inside, and dere wud not be any battul. Dey deserve sum credit for dat fun fight too.
Everyone involved made my day heeh. My day went from long boring, waiting, defeat, to fast, fun, successfull, an completud. Dat wuz a Great way to cap outta Tier 3!
Anyway tanks guys, and me iz enjoyin yer podcasts lots. Got sum catchin up to do.
Me likes da referenses to older games, since me played lots ub dem. Startud usin “Ogrespeak” EQ in da swamp of OGGUK way back. Was amazed cuz all zone chat wuz ogre speak. Thought meby it wuz automattic filter, so me would send messages to me girlfriend at da time (Now wife), and asked her “Does it look like I am typing funny?” She wud say no, so had ta git her into da zone and type sumtin in zone and see if it jus do it in zone chat, but still no. Me wuz like wow dat is cool! So me startud to learn to use it. Me used ta be bettur at it, but got beat on soo much by peeps who cant stand it, me toned it down a bit.
Me played muds on bbs’s, EQ, Asheron’s Call, Ultima Online, DAoC, WoW, D&D Online, LOTR Online, Planetside (Had higher hopes for dat game), WoW, Diablo count?
I remember thinking man it would be cool if they took the 3d environment of Quake and put a char advancement system like Diablo in it. Dat is bout da time EQ came out. Me and some friends opened a gaming center called “The Lab” in Dinkytown at the UofM at that time. We had a T1 and 8 exactly the same pc’s with 21″ monitors, one of which me still use, and a Server.
Tier 4 been lots of fun, so lookin forward ta seein you guys out dere, but dont rush outta tier 3, it’s jus one stage of da evolution in Warhammer Online, and it gots it’s own uniqueness to it, compaired to the other 3 tiers.
Me still can’t wait to see wut end game is, if it is as good as DAoC’s.
Tankfull Tanksalot (Was Tanku Tanksalot on Ultuan, Tankful on Brettonnia) So much for pre-ordering to get me name Tanku Tanksalot which goes way back to EQ. Had to transfer 2 times and get me name again 2 times. Our guild failed to get transfered as well on the first move, so we lost 9 guild levels.
