It is important how far zombies have to run towards you. Think about it, there can only be a set number of zombies spawned at a time, so if it takes twice as long to get to the survivors it’s longer before another zombie can spawn in it’s place. This leads to another tactic: don’t shoot zombies until they get close.
On the warehouse, with a good team, you can hit at least 12 mins without too much effort. Head up through the alarmed door and up to the railings. There’s no ammo, so it goes without saying to use pistols as much as possible. Two people lean over the railings and shoot the horde – the stairs and doorway both make great chokepoints. The other two each stand behind a shooter and keep an eye out – lend a hand wherever needed. The job of these people is to protect the shooters – the special infected come from the same two places EVERY SINGLE TIME ( ). Be ready for them and buddy up and you’ll be fine. The only thing too watch is your left flank – you occasionally get a lone smoker or a smattering of zombies along the walkway itself. keep an eye out and it’s one of the easiest maps.
The lighthouse is a real b*tch. All I have found is that the fireplace room works well. You can cover all the entrances easily enough and you are parked right next to the health and ammo. If you stick together you can make trips down the hallway to both the staircase room and the adjoining room which both have pills/molly’s/pipes in them so you can stay well-stocked.
